Jacqui was one of the inspiring mums that took part in our very first 56 Days of YOU challenge.
With our start date very close to rolling around again we had a quick chat to Jacqui about why she took part, what she enjoyed, and to top it off our amazing prize (which she just happened to WIN) through our wonderful supporters; Spencer Travel Southside and Club Med.
Here's what Jacqui had to say;
"I throughly enjoyed participating in the last 56 Days Of You Challenge. As mums we are sometimes so busy putting others first before our own needs that we miss out on some essential “mum time”!
This challenge pushed me to be mindful, put myself first for once and plan the week ahead so I could prioritise time each week to achieve the weekly challenges with still ensuring I had a good family/life/work balance.
I found our supportive facebook group an essential and amazing way to keep us all accountable. The energy in the group was contagious which helped us stay motivated and on track with tackling our personally set goals. Having constant challenge support from our trainer Jen and qualified nutritionist Eniko made meal times exciting, healthy and most importantly tasty!
I loved the variety of exercise challenges offered by Jen, all adaptable to all types of fitness levels and “mum life” obstacles! I loved seeing the fantastic physical gains like weight loss, increased endurance and performance but one of the most important to me was the improved mental strength it gave me. It allowed me to strengthen my mindset and believe in myself that I can do anything I set my mind to!
I found the improvements in my emotional & physical wellbeing made me a happier and more confident mum and wife, allowing the whole family to benefit!
I strongly recommend anyone considering this challenge to give it a go, you will have support every step of the way, make some amazing new friends, have a whole heap of fun and conquer goals you thought were not achievable!"
As overall winner of our 56 Days of YOU by doing something for herself everyday Jacqui won a 4-night stay at Club Med Bintan for herself and her family - win win!
Our challenge winner is not judged on weight-loss or before and after pictures alone but on how she approaches the whole challenge; from her own commitment to doing something for herself every day for 56 days to how much she leans in and supports our group.
Our next 56 Days of YOU challenge kicks off this coming Monday on the 22nd October.
